To create this card we used the following:
• Yellow, 5 ½” x 4 ¼” Fold Over Card
• Burgandy Background paper
• White Linen Cardstock
• Medium Thinking of You Template
• Large Autumn Motif Template
• Orange Chalk
• Rudy Red Chalk
• Yellow Chalk
• Burnt Sienna Chalk
• Brown Chalk
• Black Chalk
• Green Chalk
Use an align-a-card to help center Thinking of You template at the top of the yellow card. Be sure the Thinking of You template is placed face down on the tracing surface before you begin. Use the embossing tool to trace the lettering. Lay the Autumn Motif template on your light source put the white linen paper on top Trace around the template to make a square frame and then trace the fall designs inside of the template. Cut 1/8 inch from line of debossed square frame. Lay cutout on top of burgundy background paper and cut ¼ inch from edge with deckle scissors. Glue pieces together as shown in example. Add color with Chalk. Use your orange and rudy red chalk to color the pumpkins, Brown burnt sienna, yellow and black Chalk for the oak leaves and acorn, Yellow Chalk for the squash, green chalk for the pumkin stems and leaves and brown and burnt sienna and orange chalk for the lettering and to lightly shade the yellow card as shown.
