The embossing tool has a wooden handle and metal ends in two sizes: medium and small or medium and large. Always use the medium end unless it won't fit into the area you are trying to emboss. The large end will make large areas work faster and will make it possible to use a lighter weight paper without tearing the paper. We recommend starting with the tool with medium and small ends.
