To create this card we used the following:
Flat Red, 5 ½ x 4 Ό Fold Over Card
Glossy White, 5 ½ x 4 Ό Fold Over Card
Scrap of Green Paper (for stem)
Scrap of Red Paper (for pepper)
Medium Alphabet Calligraphy Uppercase Template
Medium Alphabet Calligraphy Lowercase Template
Large Peppers Template
Black and Yellow Magic Markers
Red and White Curl Ribbon
Deckle Shaped Scissors
Trace Pepper on red paper and carefully cut out the Pepper, leaving about 1/8 space between cut and tracing, so you wont lose your raised effect. Trace stem and leaves on a small piece of green paper and cut as above. Glue pepper to a 5 ½ x 4 Ό piece of Glossy Card Stock. Use Alphabet to emboss Some Like It Hot! as shown on card. Remember to place the Alphabet upside down on the light source. Use deckle scissors to cut out the glossy white paper in the shape as shown. Glue glossy paper to red card, and cut the edges of the red card to parallel the edges of the glossy paper. Tie 2 ½ pieces of red and white ribbons together in a knot at the center. Use a scissors to fray the ends. Flatten knot and glue to top corner of white paper as shown.
